A blast from the past: Christmas 2006

Hello! So today we move onto Christmas 2006... just 3 days and 1 hour before Christmas 2013 which has come around far too quick!!!

So I'm going to start off with some individual pics of Katy & Casey...

A blast from the past: Hello Casey!

So today we move on to towards the end of 2006, starting with the arrival of Casey! (Remember on my 2nd blog I uploaded a picture of Katy with an old friend? Well this is her friend a good few years later! She wasn't happy when she came to us and had a lot of issues. It took her a while but we made sure she was happy!

This is her, as you can see her paws were very orange from lots of chewing and she was in good need of a hair cut! More importantly she looks miserable...














She adored Katy and was very happy to let her be top dog!

 They become very comfortable in each others company very quickly!

Sometimes Casey was a little clumsy and unintentionally used to squash Katy in the corner!












Here's a few pictures of Casey after she had her hair cut in early December...

 She looked much better and also much happier!

 She became very relaxed very quickly. :)

She was a great one for eating, here she is waiting in the kitchen!

 Here's Katy's ostrich in the corner along with another toy behind Katy. They look very content here. :)

 They loved sitting on chairs together!

 Katy loved posing for all sorts of pictures! You can also see Casey in the background playing with what might be a chew - we had a ban her from having chews because she ate them!

 There they are on mummy's bed! A regular sleeping place for them!

 They were spoiled with all sorts of beds!

Back in the day when I had a single bed and a WWF wrestling quilt!

A blast from the past: Katy, England's World Cup mascot!

Ok, so today we finally go back to the year 2006 where I'll be sharing some more pictures

And here's the first picture - remember that Ostrich she got for her birthday? Well here it is again! One of her favourite toys. :)

And here she is with her favourite collar! VERY appropriate!!!

She loved visiting the beach. She used to yap so much she tired herself out! (Infact she still does 7 years later!)

Again, she loved the beach! :)

Here, Katy is supporting England during the 2006 World Cup (pity she didn't get to wear it for long!).

And again with her little football toy!

England 1-0 Ecuador - I think Katy's expression shows how exciting that game was!
















At least she enjoyed her snacks during the game! (Actually, her expression might say otherwise!).

After the disappointment of England's performance during the World Cup she cuddled up to her best friend, George!

Katy used to love going to the Park, even though she liked chasing the ducks! This was taken in August.

And here's another one of her at the park, with her harness on! She'd probably just seen a bird... or a duck!















So I'm going to finish today's blog with 3 more pictures during November when we moved house.

Katy gets very stressed when the furniture is in the wrong place!

And the last picture! Katy making sure she isn't left behind! The best before end date is relating to the box and not the dog!!!

Smokey our new cat. :)

Apologies I haven't updated this for 2 days... and again there's another set of pictures I want to show you before I move back to 2006...

The reason being we have a new pet! A gorgeous cat called Smokey, he's settling in very well... him and Nancy are fine, never aggression with King (the other tom cat) and Katy the dog is absolutely fine.

He's come from a friend where he lived with his brother called 'Ben'. Unfortunately it seems as though 'Ben' was poisoned by his neighbour and Smokey's come to us so he is safe. He's 2 and a half now. :)
